Provide a Meal to Thrive Students
Thrive provides a nutritious meal to 240 students daily in five locations across Knoxville. Please review the site locations and number of students at each site below. Thank you for serving at Thrive.
How it works:
Gather your friends, small group, neighbors, or church and select one of our five campuses across Knoxville to serve dinner.
Click the Meal Train Link for the campus and select the date you would like to serve. Be sure to add the meal you plan to bring to ensure we do not have too many duplicates. Here is a link to sample menus or you can bring one of your favorite dishes!
Review the instructions on the individual meal train page for the number of students to provide meals, arrival times, and specific contact information for the site you choose.
Serve dinner and enjoy talking with Thrive students!

Before signing up for opportunities to serve:
You must attend our volunteer training and agree to our policies.
After completing an account, our Volunteer Coordinator will reach out to you
to schedule a training!

Specific Ways to Serve:
Tutor a student during homework time
Lead an elective activity for a group of students (5:05-5:45pm)
Donate treats to bless our interns
Help cook in Thrive’s kitchen
Gardening: We maintain multiple community gardens in Lonsdale
Group projects: We welcome groups that want to serve together!
Summer: Join us as a chaperone for a pool day or field trip
Mentor a student - additional training required
